- Guardian Investor Services LLC, a unit of Guardian Life Insurance Co. of the U.S., has a new fixed-income fund. The Guardian Low Duration Bond Fund, part of the New York firm's Park Avenue Portfolio family of mutual funds, invests in treasuries and other short-term fixed-income securities.
