Abstract

The article discusses occupational therapy research in active aging. Topics discussed include research trends in aging overt the past 20 years from 2014, actions that occupational therapists need to take to thrive in the field of active ageing, and examples of areas with strong research supporting interventions that must be implemented in practice. It concludes that increase in volume of research literature in occupational therapy is positive which must continue.
