Abstract

A single particle equation of motion for an autoresonance with a damping force is evaluated with simple numerical calculations. The obtained results show a clear deviation from the standard threshold amplitude dependence on the sweep rate. It tends to be a constant for the smaller sweep rate. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
