Abstract

The article discusses the FY2015 research and development (R&D) budget appropriations for the Department of Energy (DOE), which conducts basic scientific research in areas of nuclear physics, biological and environmental sciences, and basic and applied R&D relating to energy production and use. A table showing the DOE R&D and related activities for FY2014 and FY2015 budgets is presented.
