Abstract

The author discusses aspects of eating and being from 1850 to 2015. She mentions the link between consumption and climatic changes which raises intergenerational responsibility and associating metabolic diseases to work shifts. An overview of the perspective of philosopher Ludwig Feuerbach on eating is also presented.
