Neoproterozoic rhyolites of the Ulutau Precambrian massif (Central Kazakhstan): Structural position and age justification.

The article presents a study which investigates structural position and age justification of neuproterozoic rhyolites of precambrian massif in Central Kazakhstan. Topics discussed include determination of the age of acid volcanic rocks of the Maityubin zone by U-Pb dating method, chemical decomposition of zircon. and separation of uranium (U) and lead (Pb), and isotope study of the accessory zircon.
