- Information about the International conference called “Toward a New Pan-Africanism: Deploying Anthropology, Archaeology, History, and Philosophy in the Service of Africa and the Diaspora," held at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica from April 24-25, 2014 is presented. Topics included Africa's poverty problem and Jamaican culture. The conference featured several speakers like Dr. Jahlani Niaah, actor Sam Dede and Professor Lewis Gordon.
