Abstract
- Polymicrobial endocarditis is uncommon. We present a case of polymicrobial endocarditis caused by Enterococcus faecalis and Coxiella burnetii and review previous cases of polymicrobial endocarditis involving Coxiella burnetii. Testing for Q fever should be considered in any patient with endocarditis living in an endemic area. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
