Abstract
- In this work, the composition dependence of high-frequency magnetic properties for the oriented hcp-Co<subscript>1-x</subscript>Ir<subscript>x</subscript> soft magnetic films with negative uniaxial magnetocrystalline anisotropy (K<subscript>u</subscript><superscript>grain</superscript>) and in-plane uniaxial anisotropy field (H<subscript>u</subscript>) is investigated. Both the saturation magnetization (M<subscript>s</subscript>), K<subscript>u</subscript><superscript>grain</superscript>, and H<subscript>u</subscript> are greatly affected by the composition of Ir. The (μ<subscript>i</subscript> - 1) . fr of Co<subscript>1-x</subscript>Ir<subscript>x</subscript> (with negative K<subscript>u</subscript><superscript>grain</superscript>) is larger than Acher's limit (without K<subscript>u</subscript><superscript>grain</superscript>) when x exceeds 0.14. The increasing percent of (μ<subscript>i</subscript> - 1) . fr could get a maximum of 42% when x is 0.2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
