Where are we now?

The article looks at adult education and skills training in Great Britain. It argues that the British government needs to do far more to help working people, especially low-wage workers, have access to further education (FE) and other opportunities to raise their skill levels. Topics include devolution of adult education and occupational training policy to the local level, and figures on the educational attainment of adults in various countries are included.
