Endovascular Treatment of Large and Giant Intracranial Aneurysms with Use of Mixture Different Embolic Materials.

This article discusses the feasibility and efficacy of endovascular treatment of large and giant intracranial aneurysms (ICA) with the use of mixture of different embolizations. Embolic materials used included coils, stents, acrylates and ONYX, a liquid embolic agent manufactured by Irish healthcare company Covidien. Control angiography was used to assess the efficacy of the treatments administered.
