Abstract

The article offers information on a poll conducted by the periodical related to independent wine merchants in Great Britain. Topics discussed include an increase in sales of merchants in 2014, the use of social media and electronic commerce (e-commerce) by them, wholesale wine offered by independents, challenges faced by the industry such as price competition with supermarkets, cash flow management and duty costs and appointing employees for business.
