Retired Professors, ¿Still Part Of Higher Education Institution's Intellectual Capital?

In this paper, we present a proposed methodology, supported by a system of indicators, to characterize the professional activity developed by the retired professors of Higher Education Institutions -HEI-, and some results of applying it in one of the most important institutions of Colombia, this in order to establish whether pensioners may still be taken into account as the Intellectual Capital of HEI after retirement.
