Abstract
- The article offers information on the 11th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) convention, organised by The Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs in partnership with the Government of Kerala, India, in Kochi, Kerala from January 7-9, 2013. Indian President Pranab Mukherjee expressed his confidence during that convention that the country's economy will recover to a 8-9% growth on gross domestic product (GDP). The discussion of Oomen Chandy, Chief Minister of Kerala, is also included.
