Abstract
- In this article the author discusses whether the Research Excellence Framework (REF) has killed creativity of researchers in the universities of Great Britain. Topics include the researchers while writing impact case studies arguing the impact of their work by highlighting that it is cited in the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the competition created by the REF process which has also crushed innovation, and the world-leading research produced by mental health nurses.
