Abstract
- The article discuses a study conducted to review the use of Supportive and Palliative Care Indicators Tool (SPICT) to define patients with a Life-Limiting Illness (LLI) and compares outcomes of rapid response teams (RRT) consultations. Topics discussed include complete study procedure, data analysis, strength and limitations of SPICT. It also discusses issues related to unnecessary interventions and ways to promote patient-centred care.
