Abstract

The article reports on research which was conducted to investigate the percentage of very old adults who felt adequately informed after receiving care from a medical professional. Researchers evaluated the attitudes of 1,082 subjects between the ages of 82 and 94. They found that more than three quarters of the subjects felt that they had received informed care from physicians who checked to see whether they were provided with adequate information.
