Abstract
- The author discusses the Japanese tradition of using paper yarns in warp or weft, called shifu. Topics covered include her use of the Shosenshi linen paper yarn from Habu Textiles, her use of this paper yarn for a functional fabric, the use of the paper yarn for weaving with silk, and her use of the linen paper as weft.
