Abstract

The article presents the author's views on the U.S.' national security law and individual rights as of July 2014, highlighting the expansion of executive power which she considers unconstitutional. He provides a background of the Constitution and discusses the role of government in protecting individual natural liberties. Other topics include the right to due process, political persecutions, and the Espionage Act of 1917.
