Abstract: The article presents a general discussions between various participants of the periodicals including Hedi Mattoussi, Siti Fatimah Abdul Ghani and Maya Thanou. They discusses the mechanism of the toxicity of the naked quantum dots (QDs), the coordination of the biphosphonate ligands on the surface of the nanoparticles and energy levels of semiconductor QDs.
