Abstract

A novel compound, Na<subscript>2</subscript>[Ce<subscript>4</subscript>(H<subscript>2</subscript>O)<subscript>22</subscript>(dpdo)<subscript>5</subscript>](Mn<subscript>2</subscript>HP<subscript>2</subscript>W<subscript>15</subscript>O<subscript>56</subscript>)<subscript>2</subscript>·8H<subscript>2</subscript>O (1) (dpdo = 4,4′-bipyridine-N,N′-dioxide) with 3d–4f heterometallic 3D POMOF that can be described as a self-penetrating (4,4,6)-connected net topology, has been isolated via a stepwise method, and its magnetic and electrocatalytic properties have been investigated.
