Abstract: The article provides country risk forecasts for Honduras as of August 2014. It examines the political and economic issues facing President Juan Orlando Hernandez and his Partido Nacional (PN) party. Other topics discussed include the economic significance of a lending agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), statistics on domestic and international economic indicators in 2009-2013, and the decline in the yield on Honduran bonds in June 2014.
