Abstract
- The article focuses on the study commissioned by the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) and was conducted by the medical professionals at the Institute of Health and Wellbeing and the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow on the propensity of veterinarians to be injured. The results of the study show that an equine veterinarian could expect to sustain between seven and eight work-related injuries in their 30-year working life.
