Innovation News Coverage In Malaysian English Language Newspaper.

Malaysian has been urged to be innovative as innovation has been identified as the key principle underlining the new economic model. Government has initiated various programs as part of the Malaysian innovation agenda. At the same time, Malaysian newspapers have been conveying messages to the Malaysian public by publishing articles reporting innovationrelated events and information. But does the Malaysian public understand the message? Furthermore does the message manage to influence Malaysian public to be innovative? How public understand a new concept such as innovation are closely related to how the media framed the issues. Furthermore, how issues are framed in newspaper articles influence how a particular issue is understood and perceived by the reader.
