- This essay takes a look not only at the historical context of the Vietnam war andhow it relates to author Philip K. Dick, but also analyzes how the televisation of the warinfluenced his writing. This work entails the distinct writing style shifts that took placebetween the writing and publication of Dr Bloodmoney or How We Got Along After TheBomb and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? as the two works of interest as they helpto best illustrate the stark differences in Dick’s manner of writing.
