Abstract
- We demonstrate for the first time that the extracellular potassium concentration influences the inhibition of human neuronal delayed rectifier potassium currents by general anesthetics. This observation suggests a modulatory role for extracellular potassium ions in the action of some general anesthetic agents.<br /> (Copyright 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.)
