Abstract

The medical profession is currently undergoing a significant transformation. In recent decades, we have seen the emergence and implementation of new diagnostic tools, therapeutic targets, and technical procedures that have revolutionized our clinical practice. These resources have undoubtedly improved patient outcomes but have also led to excessive reliance on technology. This overreliance can limit the new generation's capacity to provide humane and comprehensive patient care and develop critical thinking skills. In this article, we reflect on the urgent impact of this trend on pediatric international cooperation and propose workable solutions to this problem. We stress the importance of maintaining a patient-centered approach in the face of these technological advancements, as it ensures that the patient's needs remain at the forefront of our practice.<br />Competing Interests: Declaration of Conflicting InterestsThe author(s) declared no potential conflicts of interest with respect to the research, authorship, and/or publication of this article.
