Abstract

Mycolicibacterium fortuitum , a fast-growing nontuberculous mycobacterium, is a significant pathogen in healthcare-associated infections, encompassing skin, soft tissue, and pulmonary diseases. In this study, we present draft genome sequences from 12 M . fortuitum strains isolated from sputum samples from patients diagnosed with pulmonary infections in Mexico.<br />Competing Interests: The authors declare no conflict of interest.
