QW and GFG initiated and coordinated the project. GFG, QW, and PD designed the experiments. CW and SH constructed the plasmids, prepared the mRNA vaccines, and performed neutralisation assays with RF to prepare the pseudotyped viruses. SH performed animal experiments.
