Abstract
- Case Presentation: A pregnant woman developed hepatitis due to a herpes simplex virus 2 primary infection with a severe systemic inflammatory response. Treatment with acyclovir and human immunoglobulin was given and both mother and baby survived.<br />Purpose: We provide the first description of the inflammatory response associated with herpetic hepatitis in pregnancy.<br /> (© 2023.
