Abstract
- In this issue of Neuron, Sadegh et al. <superscript>1</superscript> identify a novel potential therapeutical target for posthemorrhagic hydrocephalus (PHH). The authors identified that overexpression of Na-K-2Cl cotransporter-1 (NKCC1) in the choroid plexus relieves ventriculomegaly and enhances cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) clearance in improved PHH mouse models.<br />Competing Interests: Declaration of interests The authors declare no competing interests.<br /> (Copyright © 2023 Elsevier Inc.
