Abstract: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is widespread worldwide and thereby a very serious public health problem. There are currently no effective drug treatment measures. Liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs) are the most abundant non-parenchymal cells in the liver; however, it is still not clear what role LSECs play in NAFLD. This article reviews the research progress of LSECs in NAFLD in recent years in order to provide some reference for subsequent research.
