Abstract

Rheumatology is rich in educational opportunities, learning about a variety of diseases. Rheumatology subspecialty training is a time of unparalleled learning, and within the curriculum of a training program, the connective tissue diseases (CTDs) represent a unique challenge to the fellows. The challenge therein lies in the multisystem presentations they are faced with mastering. Scleroderma, as a rare and life-threatening CTD, remains one of the most difficult conditions to manage and treat. In this article, the authors focus on an approach to training the next generation of rheumatologists to take care of patients with scleroderma.<br /> (Copyright © 2023 Elsevier Inc.
