Abstract
- Luiz R. Travassos was one of the first students to receive a Ph.D. degree in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), the largest federal university in Brazil and one of the oldest in the country. I had the privilege to be his first Ph.D. student. In this manuscript, I will share some of our professional and personal experiences, to give the readers a view about the scientific and human skills of one of the greatest men of science born in Brazil.<br /> (© 2023.
