Abstract: The title compound, C <subscript>25</subscript> H <subscript>46</subscript> N <superscript>+</superscript> ·Cl <superscript>-</superscript> ·2H <subscript>2</subscript> O, crystallizes in the space group P 2 <subscript>1</subscript> with one organic mol-ecule in the asymmetric unit. The compound belongs to a class of benzalkonium chlorides (BACs) with an alkyl chain length of 16 carbon atoms in an all- trans conformation.<br /> (© Aguinaga et al. 2023.)
