Abstract

The additional (CH <subscript>3</subscript> NH <subscript>3</subscript> ) <subscript>2</subscript> MnCl <subscript>4</subscript> phase was observed upon increasing the Mn <superscript>2+</superscript> dopant concentration, preventing the formation of Mn <superscript>2+</superscript> -doped CH <subscript>3</subscript> NH <subscript>3</subscript> PbCl <subscript>3</subscript> NCs. We introduce an approach to avoid the formation of an impurity phase by switching the sequence for the addition of MnCl <subscript>2</subscript> in the crystal growth process.
