Abstract

The nursing profession is based on the acquisition of knowledge and skills. The rapid evolution of scientific knowledge requires regular updating of knowledge in order to base practice on solid and reliable data. The intensive care nurses point out the lack of adequacy between the initial training and the reality of daily life, which is sometimes a source of deviation from good practices. In intensive care, a field where care techniques evolve very rapidly, nurses must be able to update their knowledge and participate in the construction of new knowledge.<br /> (Copyright © 2020 Elsevier Masson SAS.
