Abstract

A 13-year-old rhesus macaque presented a cervical swelling associated with sudden deterioration of its condition. This mass was surgically removed, and its histopathological examination revealed a stratified squamous epithelium. This appearance has been reported in some case of air sacculitis in others non-human primate species.<br /> (© 2020 John Wiley & Sons A/S. Published by John Wiley & Sons Ltd.)
