Abstract

Tuberculosis is currently considered a public health issue worldwide. Although a large number of hematological disorders related to tuberculosis have been described, immune thrombocytopenic purpura in patients with active tuberculosis is very rare but must be considered in a patient with no other evident cause.<br />Competing Interests: None declared.<br /> (© 2020 The Authors.
