- Competing Interests: Competing interests: We have read and understood the BMJ Group policy on declaration of interests and declare the following interests: SLR has been a paid speaker in the past two years on topics related to patient experience by Siemens Healthineers and by Panagora Pharma. She also serves on the Ethics Committee for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), a non-profit organization in the USA.
