[Subfulminant hepatitis A treated by hepatic transplant].

Abstract: A case of subfulminant hepatitis A in a 3 1/2 year-old boy is reported. This child is alive after a liver transplantation. Such a procedure should modify the prognosis of severe hepatic failure whatever its origin, viral or toxic. Some practical problems concerning this new management of fulminant hepatitis are considered.
