Abstract

Drug-resistant epilepsy affects 20 to 30% of epileptic children. The paediatric department of the Fondation Adolphe-de-Rothschild has dedicated three rooms to conduct recordings with electrodes placed on the scalp or intra-cerebral, implanted in the operating room. The purpose is to offer intervention that can cure seizures. Designated nurses oversee the proper functioning of the recordings while involving the parents.<br /> (Copyright © 2018 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.)
