Abstract
- Differentiation features in cancer cells are typically attributed to the cell of origin. In this issue of Cancer Cell, Drummond et al. demonstrate a transdifferentiation program apparent in rhabdomyosarcomas (cancers with skeletal muscle differentiation features) arising through cell fate reprogramming from a single oncogene activation in endothelial cell precursors.<br /> (Copyright © 2017 Elsevier Inc.
