Abstract
- Vaccination approaches eliciting strong CD4 T cell responses provide only weak protection from tuberculosis. In this issue of Cell Host & Microbe, Moguche et al. (2017) show that T cells specific for different immunodominant vaccine antigens can fail to protect for opposite reasons, highlighting a major challenge in tuberculosis vaccine design.<br /> (Published by Elsevier Inc.)
