Abstract
- Horseshoe kidney (HSK) is the most common renal fusion anomaly. There have been reports of an association of HSKs with medical renal disease. We report a case of a child with nephrotic-range proteinuria and a HSK. As the patient was on peritoneal dialysis, the entire HSK was removed en bloc via a retroperitoneoscopic approach with early postoperative reinitiation of peritoneal dialysis.<br /> (Copyright © 2015 Elsevier Inc.
