Abstract

3D hybrid plasmonic nanomaterials are composed of 3D-stacked Ag nanowires and nanoparticles separated by a nanoscale-thick alumina interlayer. The 3D hybrid plasmonic nanostructures exhibit strong plasmonic coupling between the ultrahigh populations of plasmonic nanomaterials, overcoming the physical limitation of inefficient plasmonic coupling of the Ag nanowire stacks.<br /> (© 2015 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
