Abstract: For the first time in Russia the dynamics of morbidity and mortality from malignant tumors of the brain and other parts of the CNS in the North-West Federal District of Russia is presented. A precise elaboration of data on cases is performed according to the database of the Population-based Cancer Registries of St. Petersburg and Arkhangelsk region.
