[Histologic and immunofluorescence microscopy phenomena of keratin (Civatte) bodies of PUVA treated cutaneous lichen ruber planus].

In a histological and immunofluorescence microscopic study on 145 patients suffering from lichen planus the PUVA-effects on the keratin bodies are observed. The formative "stop" of the keratin bodies in the basal layer is interpreted as a PUVA-induced immunohistological sign of cure and as primary antikeratinocytic and secondary anticytotoxic component of the 8-MOP-UVA effect.
