Abstract
- The biogenic magnetite nanoparticles presented here had a high capacity of adsorbing metal cations, which was approximately 30- to 40-fold greater than commercially available magnetite. These results suggest the potential application of microbial magnetite formation in the removal of toxic metal cations from water.<br /> (Copyright © 2013 The Society for Biotechnology, Japan.
