Abstract
- The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new idea: local inhibition of contractility without necrosis. It's potential usefulness in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy treatment is discussed and 2 pharmacological models, administrating botulinum toxin and wortmannin directly in the myocardium are disclosed.<br /> (Copyright © 2012 Instituto Nacional de Cardiología Ignacio Chávez.
